Graduate of Harvard
Academic Specialties University, Private HS Professional Specialties Editing, creative writing, publishing Some what Interesting Tidbits I published a young adult novel in 2015, I take tennis (both watching and playing) too seriously, and as an alumni and former President of Harvard’s oldest co-ed a capella group, I will always back you up at karaoke. Most interesting/memorable moment(s) from school My favorite school moments were workshopping my writing with world-renowned poet Jorie Graham—she forever changed the way I think about language; listening to (and laughing through) Conan O-Brien’s now-famous Class Day speech during my graduation week; mountaineering in the North San Juan section of the Rocky Mountains for three weeks the summer after my junior year in high school. Best advice for applicants First drafts are called first drafts for a reason—they are the first step in a process. Even New York Times-bestselling authors go through multiple revisions! If you keep this in mind, you will feel less pressure and generate more ideas. With each revision of your application, you will come closer to finding and highlighting the two things that will set you apart from every other applicant—your story and your voice.
